Yes, we have a storm shelter that was constructed following the May 2013 tornado. Our above-ground shelter is designed for accessibility, ensuring that children of all ages can reach it safely and quickly during severe weather events.

We are open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. We are closed on 6 major holidays throughout the year.

We have only had two occasions that we closed for weather in the last 15 years. These were both cases of extreme ice on the roads. We will always do our best to open, as we know we have families that rely on us. We do ask that parents, if able to, make arrangements for early pick-up on days when the risk of a tornado is high.

CKLC operates more like a learning center or school than a daycare. We do not enroll more students than the maximum for any class. This allows the classroom to run more smoothly than it would with students coming and going throughout the week.

While we don’t typically schedule formal tours, you’re welcome to drop by for a visit any weekday between 9:15 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. We look forward to showing you around!

As of fall 2024, we do not take DHS subsidy. We do have a contract with the tribe of Caddo Nation, and they cover child care for any children enrolled with any tribe in the state of Oklahoma. Due to fees associated with credit card processing companies, we do not accept credit cards. You are able to pay with cash, check, or we can set up an ACH payment through your bank. Whichever method you choose, payment is due on Tuesday of each week.

Student and family privacy and safety is a top priority at Creative Kids Learning Center. We have cameras in all the hallways, playgrounds, parking lots, and entrances. In addition, each family is given a code to access the front door.
